Coyote APA 4.5%

The Trickster Spirit! Do not be fooled, there's more to this American Pale Ale than meets the eye. This beer is packed full of American hops and citrus aromas.

This imagery is based on the Moon card, the card of fear, subconscious and intuition. The Moon can indicate a time of uncertainty and illusion, when nothing is what it seems.

This is the story of Coyote:

The Animal People asked The Creator to give them light so that they could see at night. The Creator told them to collect stones from the river which he then placed one-by-one in the sky, creating pictures.

The Creator told the Animal People that they could create their own sky pictures, and he asked Coyote to help them by carrying a blanket full of stones.

But Coyote grew bored waiting for the Animal People to finish their pictures. He took all the remaining stones and threw them into the sky.

This is why some constellations look like pictures, some look unfinished, and some stars are all clumped together.

Lorelei Lager 4.2%

Light and refreshing our cold filtered, German hopped lager is as intoxicating as a Siren’s song.

This imagery is based on the Star card, the card of hope and renewal. With the Star card anything is possible, a chance to rediscover inspiration and purpose in life.

Lore was a maiden who, in despair over a faithless lover, threw herself from a rock (lei) into the river Rhine and was turned into a siren.

From atop her rock her song mesmerised sailors who were drowned by following her voice into the turbulent waters.

Mad King Sweeney
Irish Red 4.6%

Inspired by the turbulent life of Buile Suibhne, our Irish red ale brewed with rye and oats, is smooth and balanced enough to calm the mad king himself.

This imagery is based on the Strength card, the card of inner strength, courage and determination. Strength is about knowing you can endure life’s obstacles.

Suibhne was an Irish king, driven mad by a curse put on him at the battle of Mag Rath after he killed a psalmist with a spear.

He was cursed to wander the land like a bird until his death, by spear.

Memento Mori
IPA 5.5%

Our hop forward talisman of life and death. Strong, hoppy, bitter, and not to be taken lightly.

This imagery is based on The Death card, symobolising endings and transition. Changes should be welcomed as positive, cleansing and transformational forces in life.

Memento Mori is latin for "remember that you must die" and serves as a reminder to embrace life and all the opportunities it presents.

“You could leave life right now. Let that determine what you do and say and think.” - Marcus Aurelius.

Celebrating the Earth goddesses of the old religions:

Cybele, known as Magna Mater, the Great Mother of the Gods and Phrygian goddess of wild nature, fertility and healing; Artemis, Greek goddess of the hunt, animals and vegetation; Freyja, Norse goddess of love, fertility, battle and death; Epona, Gallic goddess of horses; and Danu, most ancient of the Celtic Gods and the namesake of the Tuatha Dé Danann, goddess of earth and rivers.
