By using our website you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below. Use of any functionality of Strangetimesbrewing.com constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

Any personal information provided by you is confidential and will not be passed on to any other companies or organisations not affiliated with our online business.

 

Strange Times reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notice at any time. Your continued use of this site after changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of the changes to these Terms. 

 

GENERAL

  • You must be aged 18 or over to purchase alcohol. It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK. When ordering and making a payment you will be required to confirm that you are aged 18 or over.

  • If your order is a gift and contains alcohol, the recipient must also be aged 18 years or older. An adult over the age of 18 will be required to sign for delivery.

  • We aim to ensure the prices shown are correct. If an error does occur, we will make every effort to contact you to confirm if you would like to proceed with the order at the correct price.

  • While every effort is made to supply all items listed online, there are instances where this may not be possible. In these cases we will contact you and offer a substitute with the same or greater value.

  • We reserve the right to withdraw or replace products online without notice. Merchandise prices and specifications are also subject to change without notice.

  • We make every effort to ensure that the information on this website is correct. However, Strange Times takes no responsibility and shall not be held liable for any information relating to a third party that is incomplete, inaccurate or out of date.

  • Even where your payment is accepted by our systems, no contract shall exist until Strange Times have dispatched the items to you.

  • Strange Times will not be held responsible for any loss, consequential loss or damage to any individual or business which may have occurred from the use (or misuse) of any product or any information contained on this website.

Payment

  • We currently can take orders by phone or email. 

  • Card payments are made through a secure server. Strange Times does not store your financial details. Your personal details are not passed to any third party.

  • Payment will be taken at the time of ordering.
     

Delivery

  • We always aim to deliver your order promptly but cannot accept liability for delay.

  • Orders with Next Day Delivery must be placed before 3pm Monday-Thursday in order for delivery to be made the next day.

  • Orders for Saturday Delivery must be place on or before Friday at 3pm.

  • Deliveries must be signed for by a person of 18 years or older. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request ID. We reserve the right to cancel the delivery if the age and identity of the recipient is in doubt.

  • It is the responsibility of the customer to report goods damaged in transit.

  • If an order is upgraded beyond standard delivery, to Next Working Day, Next Working Day AM/PM, or Saturday Delivery options, and it fails to be delivered on time (see checkout page for definitions of when these orders will be delivered) you are due a refund of the difference between the standard delivery charge and the upgraded delivery charge.

  • Refunds will not be issued in the instance of an order being placed outside the conditions of the delivery parameters stated on the checkout page.

  • We shall not be liable to pay any compensation to you, other than any refund as stated above.

  • No compensation can be offered for loss of wages due to failed or late deliveries.

  • Customers accept responsibility for the safe storage and use of the products upon receipt. Strange Times is not liable for damage caused by customer mishandling. 

  • Alcohol is best enjoyed in moderation.

 

Returns, refunds and cancellations

If you wish to return merchandise goods only please contact us for more details.

Please note that return shipping will be paid by the customer except in cases where goods are faulty, in which case they will be reimbursed to the customer. Once the goods are received back in our warehouse, a refund will be processed for the goods, minus applicable shipping costs, unless the return concerns faulty or damaged goods.

All content included on this website, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, is the property of Strange Times, our affiliates or other relevant third parties. By continuing to use the Website you acknowledge that such material is protected by applicable United Kingdom and International intellectual property and other laws.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use material from the Website unless otherwise indicated on the Website or unless given express written permission to do so by Strange Times.

 

Notice

These Terms and Conditions shall be subject to and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England. Our failure to enforce a right does not amount to waiver of it.

Name a beer competition

Strange Times Brewing Company “Name A Beer” Twitter Poll terms & conditions:

  1. The promoter is: Strange Times Brewing Company Ltd whose registered office is at Unit 1&2 Foundry, Ordsall Lane, Salford, M5 3LW.

  2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of the organisation.

  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

  4. The competition will have 2 stages:
    Stage 1 (beer name suggestion gathering and voting) will be via strawpoll.com and strangetimesbrewing.com. The 4 most popular suggestions will go through to Stage 2, a final voting round which will be held on the social media platform, Twitter.

  5. During Stage 2 only one vote will be accepted per account. Multiple votes from the same person will be disqualified.

  6. Route to vote for the competition and details of how to enter are via www.strangetimesbrewing.com and @Str4ngeTimes on Twitter.

  7. Closing time and date for final round voting will be 4pm, November 6th 2022. After this date, no further votes to the competition will be permitted.

  8. No responsibility can be accepted for votes not received for whatever reason.

  9. The promoter shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

  10. The promoter also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

  11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

  12. The prize is as follows: 24 cans of the beer named by the winner. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

  13. Winners will be chosen: as a result of a popular vote conducted via social media site Twitter as measured and recorded and verified by Promoter and or its agents.

  14. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Twitter within 28 days of the closing date. The winner will only ever be contacted by Strange Times Brewing Co. or one of its employees. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

  15. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / will be delivered.

  16. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  17. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].

  18. The winner agrees to the use of his/her/their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  19. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing the following address: info@strangetimesbrewing.com

  20. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Strange Times Brewing Company and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.
